Annular Eclipse Event
Come to the tasting room to experience a once in a lifetime event, literally. Truckee CA is on the premier path of the Annular eclipse, which is a total blockage of the sun by the moon. Many places in the world will not be able to see any of this, as it happens on a set path, but Truckee is a lucky and blessed place and we will see the whole thing. Truckee River Winery will be celebrating this rarity in true TRW fashion. Come to the tasting room to enjoy blind tastings, dark treats, glow ball and more! Bring your viewing glasses as the total eclipse is at 6:30p!

Cask as Canvas!
Truckee River Winery is calling all artists!! We have an abundance of retired barrels and we want local artists to come and make them works of art. We have 10 barrels to be painted, and 5 of them will be auctioned off at the end of the summer, with the proceeds going to local charities! If you are a local artist and are interested in participating in Cask as Canvas, please email katy@truckeeriverwinery.com. We will be accepting applications now until June 24th, with painting occuring through out the summer!
Just Released! 2011 Pinot Gris!
This is our second vintage of this great, affordable white wine. It is crisp and clean with hints of pears and apples, and a touch of nut. The straw colored white wine goes great on a hot summer afternoon, playing bocce, hanging at the beach or relaxing on the porch. The grapes are from the Apple Hill region in Eldorado County. We are excited to carry a second white with a great amount of clarity and depth. Come in to the tasting room today to taste and grab a bottle!
