Truckee River Winery is now growing their own vines on the beautiful Truckee River!
We had our first bud break this year on June 15th! A little later than the foothills, but amazing none the less. The bud break was followed by 3 days of frost though. On June 17th temps were around 28 degrees Fahrenheit, on June 18th temperatures rose to 30 degrees and on the 19th they stayed at 30 degrees. The vines survived the frost and are looking quite healthy.

Our Zinfandel comes from Lodi, Gribaudo Vineyard from the old vine section.
Bear River Vineyard in Chicago Park, near Colfax, is our source for Merlot.
And we produce a Pinot Gris from Eldorado County
